10th Grade Lit A SY 22-23

This 10th Lit/Comp course supports the language development of college-bound students. The course will have a balance of composition, applied grammar, and literature. The development of vocabulary, speaking, listening, researching and test-taking skills will be an integral part of the curriculum. The literature program focuses on world authors. Students will be required to read “Much Ado About Nothing”. They will have a choice between the following two dramas: o “Oedipus” o “Antigone” Students will have two additional outside reading opportunities where they will select and read one novel from the lists provided in the course.
